USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this week with a 37-10-1-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s split last weekend's games and the U17s dropped their sole game. On Friday night (Dec. 9), the U18s hosted the Chicago Steel and forced overtime after being down 4-1, but ultimately lost in a shootout. The U17s visited Muskegon and dropped their lone game in overtime, 4-3, before their international break. On Saturday (Dec. 10), the U18s played in another Kroger College Series game, this time against Utica University, for their annual teddy bear toss game and won, 6-2.
The U18s host Muskegon tomorrow (Dec. 14) at 10:30 a.m. ET for their annual Kids Day Game, followed by a weekend on the road. On Friday (Dec. 16), the team will take on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at 8:00 p.m. ET followed by a trip to Dubuque (Dec. 17) to take on the Fighting Saints with puck drop at 8:00 p.m. ET.
