USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 46-18-2-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s visited the state of Wisconsin and came back with two wins, while the U17s fell at home in a pair of one-goal games. The U18s opened play against the Madison Capitols with a win (W, 6-2, Jan. 12), followed by another six-goal outing on Friday to take down the Wisconsin Badgers (W, 6-1, Jan. 13). Also on Friday, the U17s hosted the Gamblers for the first time this season and fell (L, 6-5, Jan. 13). The team fell in another one-goal game the following night to the Gamblers (L, 5-4, Jan. 14).
The U18s are on the road this weekend as they travel to Muskegon for a single game against the Lumberjacks on Saturday (Jan. 21) with puck drop slated for 7:00 p.m. ET. The night prior (Fri., Jan. 20), the U17s will host the Lumberjacks inside USA Hockey Arena with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. ET.
