PLYMOUTH, Mich. -  Kaenan Smith (Duluth, Minn.) had a career-high 33 saves, but the U.S. National Under-17 Team dropped a 4-0 contest to the Muskegon Lumberjacks tonight inside USA Hockey Arena.

For the second night in a row, the opening 20 ended in a stalemate, with Smith stopping all seven shots he faced.

Muskegon brought the final count to 4-0 as Vaclav Nestrasil poked one through net-front traffic with 6:30 to play.

The U17s are back in action next Friday, Oct. 25 as they head to ImOn Arena for a two-game set against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Puck drop is set for 8:05 p.m. ET and the game can be streamed live on FloHockey.
