Jason Hodges Athletic Trainer

Hometown New Baltimore, Mich.

Jason Hodges enters his 27th season with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and in 2024-25 is serving as athletic trainer for the U.S. National Under-18 Team. 

Hodges has served on the staff of six gold-medal squads at the International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s Under-18 World Championship (2005, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2017, 2023). Additionally, he has two silver medals in the event (2007, 2013) and one bronze (2019).

The New Baltimore, Michigan, native has worked with eight World Under-17 Challenge squads, with first-place finishes in 2001, 2010, and 2014 (Jan.) and performed athletic trainer duties for six U.S. National Junior Teams (2002, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2021), collecting bronze in 2011 and gold in 2013, 2017 and 2021. Additionally, he served for the U.S. Men's National Team at the 2021 IIHF Men's World Championship, collecting a bronze medal.

Hodges is a 1998 graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in movement science from the division of kinesiology. He earned his master’s degree in athletic training from Indiana State University in 1999.
